TENCEL

Breathable, comfortable, earth-friendly

Wash cold (30°C or lower)
Using eco-friendly wool wash detergent. While hand-washing is the safest method, you can also machine-wash by using the wool or delicates cycle. Always turn your TENCEL pieces inside out during the washing process.

Remove Stains
Never use any bleach or harsh stain removers to get rid of stains on your TENCEL pieces. Instead, make sure to rinse stains immediately, using cold or warm water, depending on the stain (for more information, have a look at our Stain Removal Guide). If water alone doesn’t work, try applying some eco-friendly wool laundry detergent and gently dabbing the stain with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid scrubbing or rubbing as this can damage the fabric.

Drying
Don’t use a tumble-dryer and opt for hang-drying. In order to avoid detergent residue on clothes of darker color, it’s also advised to wrap your TENCEL pieces in a clean towel to evenly remove excess water, before placing them on a clothing rack or hanger to dry.

Ironing
If any wrinkles appear on your TENCEL items, it’s best to steam them, as this is the most gentle option. If you don’t own a steamer, you can use an iron on the low heat or steam setting.
